The Association

The Hungarian Association of Mangalica Breeders The Association (MOE) was founded in 1994 for the genepreservation and breeding of mangalica. The reason was at the begining of 1991 a new demand was formulated by the market for the mangalica products.In the same time with the growing mangalica porks the responsibilty is still growing as well for the association. One of our succes is that we have more than 5000 pedigreed porks and we are reconized-offical association-by the hungarian gouvernment.

From 2003 MOE became the mangalica specie offical race preservation.

The association taking in consideration the continous demand and consumer needs.
The actual challange is the conservation of the original product and the preservation of the race in the international field.

The succes of the association depend of the succes of the products that is why we guarantee a high quality product made by 100% from mangalica meats.
